Had this one lying around my PC for a while now, and since it doesn't look like I'm going to add Amy anytime soon, I'll upload anyway now. I think Matt's outfit is about as incorrect as the colors of Tom's scarf so far, meaning that I'll see past that for now, too, even though I'm painfully aware of it.
For the first time in forever, a public TV channel in Germany is actually showing something that I enjoy to watch! Yes, that's season 7 of the new Doctor Who series running on Einsfestival every Wednesday at Prime Time.
(At least now I know why I pay taxes for public TV!)
And ah, the new series is SO GOOD in every aspect! Which might be my impression because I might have developed a tendency to compare it to the old series (despite I really shouldn't)... but anyway - very enjoyable! The only occasional problem I have with it is - like the late Nicholas Courtney pointed out in one interview - is that the new series is sometimes very fast-paced. And I'm not talking about the amount of words the Eleventh Doctor speaks a minute.
It's especially the start and end of the new episodes that feel like they are rushed sometimes, or compromised to contain only the absolute necessary - which is a shame, because when the series takes it a bit slower, it's near-perfect in every aspect.
As for Matt Smith as the Doctor; He's very likeable. Also has the capacity to display a variety of emotions at the same time, which is an amazing skill for an actor, and adds just the complexity to the character it needs. Is he my favorite new series Doctor? Well, I haven't seen the other ones yet, so all I can say is that he's the first new series Doctor I know and that is bound to give him a bonus in any future comparison.
Do I like him than Tom Baker in the role? No... well, sometimes, maybe. (If Tom appears together with Elizabeth then no, definitely)
But it's probably not a good idea to compare between the new and old series in any way.
Doctor Who belongs to the BBC.
If you haven't already, watch it. Any series, any season, any doctor. It's worth a try.

Ben und ich haben am Wochenende endlich Staffel 3 beendet 
Yaaaay xD Finds ja unfassbar wie viel die neue Serie auf DVD kostet xD Du könntest die dann später von jedem Doctor machen, von der neuen Serie. Ich bin mir sicher, dir wird David Tennant noch gefallen Freu mich auch schon auf Matt Smith.
